Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera)



Fractionated coconut.

Fractionated coconut is more compatible with skin than vegetable oils: the oil is said to be the closest substance to human subcutaneous fat. Pressed from coconut meat, it contains nourishing fatty acids that help hydrate and protect skin. These include linoleic acid (vitamin F), helping skin retain moisture and lauric acid, giving antibacterial properties. Coconut oil also has an unlimited shelf life.

Using coconut as a carrier
Carrier oils are base oils used with essential oils to make massage blends. The carrier oil holds the essential oils and carries them into the body during a massage.

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis)



Almond oil is full of vitamin E and is a great source of magnesium,

Good for sensitive or irritated skin, this oil is a very pale yellow with a slight nutty odour. One of the top choices of aromatherapists, as it is good for all skin types.

Sweet Almond is also good for nail and cuticle health, and is a fantastic carrier oil.

Carrier oils are base oils used with essential oils to make blends for massaging the body. The carrier oil ensures essential oils are carried into the body during a massage.
